Overview
This bespoke residential project in Australia features a two-story staircase combining two distinct structural systems to achieve both functional performance and a contemporary architectural appearance.
The first floor features a Mono Stringer Stair System, with an exposed central steel stringer supporting solid timber treads to create a clean and visually lightweight appearance.
The second floor uses a Slot Type Double Steel Plate Staircase System, combining concealed side steel plates with glass balustrades to create a clean and contemporary visual transition.
Together, the two staircase systems combine structural functionality with a refined architectural finish that complements the villa’s contemporary interior.
